MYTH: A baby in a cloth diaper won’t sleep through the night. How could he? After all, there’s no way a cloth diaper could hold in an entire night time’s worth of pee.

TRUTH: With any cloth diaper it is true that your baby will feel wet when they are wet. This is a good thing as they will typically let you know when to change them. Bonus!! This leads to reduced incidence of diaper rash and also promotes early potty training which provides considerable cost savings for families.

Wonderwear cloth diapers are the most absorbent offered by any diaper service and are made with stay dry design to keep your baby feeling dry longer in the night, helping them stay asleep.   Wonderwear cloth diapers combine a microfleece inner layer with a cotton interior pad to draw wetness and bacteria away from baby’s sensitive skin. Microfleece is a common diapering fiber used as a stay dry layer. These fabrics are not designed to absorb liquids, so when used inside a diaper as the layer closest to a baby’s skin the urine passes through them and into the absorbent layers of the diaper.  This helps to keep moisture away from a baby’s skin longer, helping the skin to stay dry. This stay dry design reduces diaper rash and helps your baby sleep through the night.

For heavy night time wetters, Wonderwear has thicker nighttime diapers.  We also offer super absorbent inserts at no cost that you can use to absorb massive amounts of wetness while keeping your baby dry and helping them stay comfortable and asleep.
